My Name!

My name is Regina. I had never had an idea of what my name meant but I've never bothered looking it up until a few days ago. My name means "queen" in Latin (which is funny considering my last name kind of means "king"😁). My name is used in many different languages but the most common are English, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Lithuanian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and Late Roman. My mom always wanted to name her daughter Regina so I'm here today with that name.

My Gratitude List

I was sitting in a chair in my house scrolling through my phone while my brother was going on and on about something. I saw my happily sister playing with her toys. I took a sip of my drink and looked around and thought, I have so much to be grateful for. I am thankful for my family that helps me and wants me to be the best I can become. I am thankful for my friends that always want to help me and wants to make me feel better when I'm down. I am grateful that I have food (even though no one really appreciates it much) because not everyone has it and we are really lucky to be able to say we don't like something and we want something else. I am thankful for my teachers that try to help me learn new things to succeed in life.   I am thankful for the army who gives up a lot of things like staying with their family just to make us safe. I am grateful for medical workers because they give up time from their families to help others who are hurt. They work on holidays and days

The Pumpkin Pie Fiasco

Since I was little I had always loved pumpkin pie. One day when I wasn't doing much, I got bored and I decided to make some pumpkin pie. I looked for pumpkin pie recipes and found one easy one. I found it easy because I had all the ingredients to make it. I used many things that I don't remember right now (blame my terrible memory). When I finally put it in the oven I looked  around and saw what a mess I had made in the kitchen. When the pie was done, I took it out and saw that one side of it was burned. When I gave it to my parents and brother anyway, my parents said that it was good and my brother said that it was terrible. I think my parents were just trying to make me feel better because when I tried it I thought it was terrible.

Childhood Favorites

My childhood favorite probably has to be a very special teddy bear I had when I was around 3 years old. I remember it was the one that I had for the longest time. I named that teddy bear "Fluffy"and I remember carrying it around everywhere. Fluffy used to help me whenever I was scared or upset. Although I had other stuffed animals, Fluffy was my favorite. As I got older I stopped "playing" with Fluffy but I will always remember him. Oh and just in case you wanted to know, yeah I still have him.

In 10 Years

In 10 years I want to be in college aiming for a masters degree in science. By that time I would have gotten a bachelor's degree in science which will help my career options. By having a degree in science I can aspire to be a doctor, scientist, or teacher. In 10 years I will be gaining more knowledge about life and having more experiences. I want to be involved in more community work and want to volunteer in some community activities. I am passionate about helping other people in need so when I am older I hope I can help people however I can. In 10 years the conditions may change and the circumstances may be different, but I will try to achieve my goals with hard work

My Quote

Image
This quote is important to me because it tells me that I have to work hard to do anything. You can't achieve anything in life without trying hard enough. If you try to do something without putting enough effort you won't get the best results or even succeed in what you were trying to do.
